Structures from sparse restraints

EPR measurements of distance distributions in the nanometer range provide very valuable long-range restraints on biomolecular structure, but usually only a relatively small number of them.
We develop algorithms for building structural models from such sets of sparse restraints and for quantifying the uncertainty of such models. By combining information from EPR with information from other techniques, we can reduce this uncertainty and improve resolution of the models.
