Protein-RNA complexes

RNA molecules and their complexes with proteins in solution often have a rather dynamic structure. They can be present in two or even more distinct conformations and are thus particularly difficult to study with most of the established structural methods.
Combination of EPR and NMR spectroscopies demonstrates great potential in accessing those structures. The use of orthogonal spin labels appears to be quite promising and might provide further advantages.
