New experimental schemes

Ultra-wideband EPR enables polarization transfer from satellite transitions of a Gd(III) ion with spin S = 7/2 to the central observer transition, enhances the modulation depth in Gd(III)-Gd(III) distance measurements by DEER experiments, and allows for detecting nuclear frequencies of transition metal ions and their correlation to the EPR spectrum in 2D and 3D ESEEM and HYSCORE experiments.
Band-selective excitation, together with improvements in data analysis, can suppress artefacts in multi-pulse DEER schemes.
